One of the aspects of pricing a diamond is that of how the clarity is graded and there are a few different things that impact the clarity of diamonds that re placed into engagement rings. There are two types of imperfections in diamonds with inclusions being on the inside of a diamond and blemishes being on the outside of a diamond. The fewer imperfections on a diamond the more expensive it will be because diamonds without at least a few imperfections are quite rare and are highly valued for their level of perfection regarding a high level of clarity.
